THE RESOLUTIONS TAG
I found this tag on YouTube and I thought it would be a good idea for me to do it too. Go check out the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bdZapEfJ1As. I did change the tag up a bit. I think you guys should reflect back to the year 2013 and also set New Year's resolutions for yourselves.
THE RESOLUTIONS TAG QUESTIONS:
∙ LOOKING BACK ∙
1: Name 3 things you did this year that you're proud of
- I graduated middle school.
- I got through this half of the freshman school year and I'm very proud of myself because there was so much happening at school.
- I started my blog.
2: Name 1 thing you wish you'd have done differentlyI wish I had done more eighth grade activities like go to prom.
3: What was your biggest highlight this year?
My biggest highlight this year has got to be my summer. It was filled with so many new experiences, good and bad.
4: Who do you want to thank for being amazing this year?
I thank all my friends that have been there for me this year. People walk out or leave all the time but I know my friend Judy will always be loyal to me. Although she doesn't always understand me and she doesn't always know what to say, I know I can tell her almost anything. We have our ups and downs. Also, I want to thank my crush because he never fails to make me smile. Some other friends I want to thank this year are Tanya, Pinki, and Faith.
5: What was something you learned this year?
I've been through so much this year and I've definitely learned a lot of lessons. One of the things 2013 taught me was to stay true to myself. I think that there is a time in your life when you just want to fit in with everyone else. And then you do things that the other people are doing. Why try to conform? It's okay to be yourself. Even if there are people who don't like you there are always going to be people who love you for who you are. So what, I'm a little weird, awkward, embarrassing to be around, I don't always say the right things but I'm me. And that's the important part, being yourself. So many times I just wanted to be accepted so I wasn't being myself. I was acting more like the people around me. Don't try so hard to fit just be you because it's so much easier. Don't listen to what other people say about you because you know yourself better than them. So who are they to judge you? I don't want to follow my friends and I don't want to do things I don't want to do. You have your own mind so you have to speak for yourself. People do things all the time because their friends are doing it. They want to fit in and be ''cool''. My advice is to just be yourself.
