The Start of a New Marking Period at School

February 3rd, 2015

School was nothing too interesting today. I felt like the day moved by pretty slow. My morning started off with a huge headache. I didn't want to go to school because of how sluggish I felt. I recently got sick so my body just feels awful. I have a horrible cough.

I take two public buses to school everyday. It has recently snowed a lot, and the grounds that are not shoveled are piled up in snow. The snow in front of the bus stops are the worst. There have been puddles, ice, and more on every corner. I wanted my dad to drive me to school today but of course he didn't. I think the odds of him driving me are way too slim. Luckily for me, I was able to catch my first bus to town. I was running in the middle of the street trying to catch the bus because there was snow all over the pavement. Snow was also highly piled up right in front of the bus stops like normally after a snow day so I ran into the street where the cars were. Some cars and buses were honking at me, but I didn't care to look back or move out of the way. When I got to town to take my second bus to school the bus driver decided to not open the door for me at the first bus stop I went to. I ended up trying to run to the next bus stop, and the bus driver ended up leaving when I got there. It was just a “great” moment! I had to wait forever for the next bus.

I had a substitute for global and weight training. All of the people who had gym classes had to go to the main gym to sit in the bleachers. We basically didn't have regular gym classes today because we did nothing. It’s a new marking period and some people got their schedules changed. I didn't get any classes changed. I have some new people in my weight training class. Geometry is hard as usual for me, and I just absolutely hate the subject so much. Other than that, I couldn't stop coughing in every class. It was insanely annoying! My throat and chest hurts so much by the end of the day from all that coughing.

Also, I always say the weirdest thing to people. I can’t help it though. I was bored and trying to ask this new kid in my weight training class what his name was. He told me what his name was, and I told him my name was Seaweed which is not actually my real name. After, I just got really random and told him that I was a girl. Well, I am a girl. At first, he didn't turn around but then I asked him if he heard. He told me he did. This happens to me on a daily basis. I just want to socialize with someone but I don’t know what to say. The other person doesn't say much so I usually try to carry the conversation on. I end up just saying random stuff.

Thanks for reading! Leave a comment below and tell me what you think. I would also love to hear any suggestions or requests on what I should blog next.
